Native speakers are a little difficult to find in Tomsk, but sometimes you don't need an American or a Brit. I think that it all depends on the teacher and the student. There are some people who need a "real" personal interaction/contact during the lessons and video on Skype just isn't enough. And there are some who don't need it and are happy with the Skype lessons. Of course, sometimes Skype could be the only solution. What do you think?)))

I agree with you. I had different lessons.( in school/in skype) and my choose is lessons in skype. It is more comfortable for me. But I think skype-lessons suit for people,who have good level-English)

I live in Seversk and every lesson in English school i went by bus ( it is about two hour) Now i have lessons at my home and I dont spend my time on the road. I have individual lessons, and time of lessons i choose myself. I can have a lesson at 8 p.m or 9 p.m. It is very comfortable. I dont spend money on books. All literature i have in PDF. Every lessons I study hear and understund speech of my teacher. It is good practice.

What a great idea about that chat I'm not sure about my english, because I didn't use it for a long time. Anyway, I love foreign languages and have subscribed for some communities (in VK or FB, you know) and today I found a great website for listening skills practice (movies with subtitles in english and russian) and I want to share it with you! It's not an advertisement, just for joy, because there are a lot of series, for example I found my favourite "Friends" and I'm sitting now, listening and watching, with the big smile on my face. Hi, everyone! I like watching movies in english, but only with subtitles. I think, it is good to watch movie with subtitles and then watch the same movie without ones. But it is so boring to watch the same movies. So I don't know how to fix it. My favorite TV show in the moment is "The office".

Personally, I can't watch movies which are dubbed in Russian. Because I usually know how the actors' voices sound or rather suppose to sound (especially if I've watched it before). So whenever I stumble upon an English movie on tv I watch it for 5 minutes tops, before I start mumbling to myself something about "well that's now what it is" or "well that isn't his/her voice"

And I'm nore sure how you can get bored of favourite movies or series. As an example, there are certain movies that I can watch over and over again just as long as there is a bit of time inbetween the viewings. And I can watch "Friends" re-runs at any day, mostly 'cause (1) it is a great show and (2) don't you just LOVE Chadler

Oh! "I love Lucy" is also my personal favourite, a show that I probably won't ever get tired of watching:love:
